The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Cisco NAT troubleshooting

Hello,

I'm using Cisco 1841 and I'm forwarding all my mail from port 25 thought NAT rule on Cisco to my Barracuda box. It's working OK for days and then it stops working until I reboot a router. From my troubleshooting I can see that I'm connecting from outside to Cisco to port 25 but I can reach Barracuda box.

sh ip nat translation | i barracuda IP

tcp ---                   ---                   206.186.xx.x:25       10.1.1.15:25
tcp                                               10.1.1.15 25             external IP

so this is working fine. I can't ping Barracuda box from Cisco router but can ping Cisco from Barracuda. also I can ping Barracuda from any interanal IP except Cisco router.

Can someone help me to troubleshoot this please? is there any debug options to see why I can't ping Barracuda from my router?
