we are providing shared hosting services, some client site might be overloaded with too many connection, so our target is to configure a global setting where it will limit each ip access by number of connection + restricted to access certain file type + block upload access of the particular file type via ftp/web (note: user shall not be able to override this setting). Is  it possible to resolev this issue

both windows and linux freebsd servers are there and  the client must not be able to uplaod *.mp3 files

for pureftp how can have filtering for all users. like a user must not be able to load mp3 files. is the same thing could be achieved for iis ftp on windows???
