ftp mput copy multiple files problem

Hi experts
I want to copy multiple files from multiple directories with ftp, but I get this problem
553 Could not create file.
the FTP command that I use it
mput */logs/*
but I get this error :
553 Could not create file.

how can I solve this problem ?

I don't think you can do */logs/*....
If you want to copy everything under logs use logs/* ( while you are in logs parrent directory)

you can use any ftp software

it will show the graphical way. so you can easily drag and drop

some of the good ftp software

I know you were asking about ftp, but if you have possibility to use scp instead of ftp, you can use this command:
scp -r */logs/* remote.host:/remote_dir/
