Best Way to Share Home Movies

Hello experts,

What I am trying to do is to create a safe and secure network for my family from across the US to upload home movies to a machine I would maintain. Basically what would work ideally would be for them to log into the machine's particular folder that would house all these home movies they could double click on the movie and depending on their video player it would open it up and they could watch it. Right now the machines I would like to have these videos on is a Windows XP Pro SP3. I do have a router between my network and the internet a Linksys WRT300N. So is there any ideas on how I can achieve this?
