Can't access any http websites, possibly a port error

For the last 2 days i have been completly unable to access any websites besides https servers.  This started after i had removed the free trial of norton from my netbook, the problems happened the next day (after installing AVG 9 Free)
Any other connections (MSN, https proxys etc) Work fine, but no actual webpages on any browser.

I've searched (A lot) about possible causes and fixes, including changing the vsdatant start value in regedit, taking firewalls off, removing norton with the removal tool, installing/Removing ZoneAlarm/AVG  changing DNS settings, flushing my DNS on ipconfig, opening ports in windows firewall although nothing has worked.

Other devices (Using a second laptop to post this now) Work fine, so its obviously something wrong with a setting or file on the actual system rather than my network

I have a belkin wifi G router, using the same settings i have for years so nothing has changed on that.

The only thing that changed was the norton removal, the day after all the problems started. My guess is that norton screwed port 80 on removal, although i don't tend to mess with ports so im not 100% sure.

Desporatly need a fix for this :S
