HTTP 500 error when opening a modified calendar item in OWA

I have a user that only accesses corporate email via OWA.  He can open and save meeting requests to his calendar but gets the 500 error if a delegate of the appointment originator sends a change notice out.  Any suggestions how to fix it or ideas as to what might be going on?
