worded,
Did you get an answer? If not why close it? If so and it didn't require a follow up post for more info, etc then why the B grade??
Real odd and suspicious to get a less than A grade when there was no follow up posts by the asker. Oh well ... I hope I helped. It would be real nice (and courteous) to have a post to comment on the "answer" (or other help given in the case of other questions).

Do you have specific type of security in mind? In my opinion all file sharing "networks" come with a risk. The providers and software can't guarantee the files are free from virus, mailicious content, etc. In cases of a P2P network it would seem to be even more risky.
If you mean security like causing your machine to be open to exploits and hacking then that might also be the case. Not really my expertise but poorly written software is likely to have bugs that might be exploited to access your machine or have the software do something unintended.
Let me know how this helps or if you have a question.
