WinXP computers cannot network peer-to-peer, but they can do it with a windows vista computer!

I have 3 computer on a home network. 2 of them run windows XP home. Not long ago the XP computers were networking fine, now, they cannot network anymore.
Vista computer networks, shares files, and pings fine with both others but XP computers cannot network between themselves!!
One can see the name of the other -sometimes, depending on the restart... you can see all 3 computers on the network, but the 2 faulty computers cannot even ping each other by name nor IP address. Sometimes one of them could ping the other but not the other way around. Now none of them can.

Presently both all computers are set with IPX/SPX and NetBios over TCP/IP
Routing and Remote access service disabled
Computer Browser Server Automatic and running.

I have tried:
Resetting network adaptars, updating drivers, restarting all computers (that sometimes gives a bit extra visibility to one of them..)

Other notes:
When I try to browse the workgroup from the XP computers, it takes quite a while to give me the names. Sometimes I have to refresh to get all names. Then when I try to browse the OTHER XP computer I get "The network path was not found". No problem browsing the Vista computer.

I have also tried without the vista computer on, just in case, nothing.

Node Type in on both XP is Unknow, Vista is Hybrid

PS. Just tested adding registry entry to make NodeType on both XP Hybrid. No results.Start Free Trial
