We installed the new version of windows 2008. We have a data folder which is working just fine with permissions currently. We have another folder called home with the following structure:
Home$ (share name) permissions Employees & Management w/ READ
Userfolders (permissions Authenticated Users w/ READ & user w/ <not inheirited> everything but full control, change permissions, take ownership)
Private (ONLY user with same permissions)
If I'm missing something let me know. I cannot see it though and have other companies working using this method. Thanks in advance.
