Adjust timestamp as shared host server time does not use daylight savings

Asked by StellaBob in Cold Fusion Markup Language, Miscellaneous Web Development, Scripting Languages

I need to capture the current time for a ColdFusion app I've done.  Since the site's hosted on a shared server in Arizona, and AZ doesn't participate in daylight savings time, I need to adjust the time to our timezone in MN as well as take into account whether we're in DST or CST.

I don't want to use the visitor's computer time in the event it's off, so I was wondering if someone has a quick, down and dirty solution for me?Start Free Trial
