I use Putty Releas 0.60 to connect from my Windows client to Unix servers. I know I can change the appearance to have a white background and black text. However, I must do it everytime I open a new session. I have not seen anyway to save it for all new sessions. Is there a config file somewhere I can edit, or someway to save my preferred settings?
In the attached doc I show I check the "Use System Colors" and then click apply.
It changes this session as I desire, but can not set it as my default for all sessions. So I have to do this everytime.

Actually you can change the default settings in Putty. Just do as Millennium have written but instead of creating a new saved session named "Default" all you have to do is to change all the settings to what you want your default settings to be and then go back to the Session tab and highlight "default settings" and click save.

Afaik, there is no way to change the default settings but what you can do is, configure all your settings then go in the first tab (Session), place any ip in Host Name box (i would put the hostname i use most) then in Saved Sessions put "Default" and hit save.
Now everytime you open, just select Default and hit load. You can do it with every server to have quick access plus your settings.
