Solaris 10 ssh "Server Unexpectledy closed network connection" unless I use blowfish cipher

I am using putty to ssh to a Solaris 10 box and I am receiving the following message: "Server Unexpectedly closed network connection". To get around this I need to manually force the Blowfish cipher in Putty
