The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Can anyone please give me the layout of an Email Server system?

Asked by Zeppi in Internet & Email Software, Email Software

Hello there everyone,

A question of course:

I am thinking of setting up a email server for my working place. I have a small system at the moment. I have a windows active directory network system (Windows 2003 Server standard Edition SP1) and I have a Windows 2k SP4 memeber server which has SQL2k installed to it. I have about 40 workstations connected to the system with a few network printers and about 80 different users.

I have no connection to internet within my system, but i have a registered .com which is currently handled by an outsourced company.

What I would like the system to be able to do is:

1st of all give an email address to the users i want to and of course audit and control what they can do with it.

Allow internet access to users i select (some users migth have emial access but not internet access).

Have a secure connection.

Now to the answer I looking for. What i need to know is the layout and the various components i will need to do this. I would like to invest some money in this project so dont worry if you might advise somethign on the costish side (compared to the size of the system of course)

Thats the 1st step I need to know. Might come up with more questions after of course. Thanks to anyone who answers.

Have a good day.
