Update: As of Firefox v3.x, the bookmarks.html storage method has been replaced by a database file named places.sqlite. It is in the same directory as the bookmarks.html file, but your .html file likely stopped being updated as soon as you updated to v3.

Here's a link from Mozilla about bookmarks: http://www.mozilla.org/sup port/firef ox/profile Profiles\x xxxxxxx.de fault\, where xxxxxxxx is a random string of 8 characters. Just browse to C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profi les\ on Windows XP/2000 or C:\users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Mozi lla\Firefo x\Profiles \ on Windows Vista, and the rest should be obvious.
On Windows Vista/XP/2000, the path is usually %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\
Similarly, you can just go to Organize Bookmarks in Firefox and export your bookmarks.
