Firefox bookmarks - where stored?
I am moving to a new laptop and cannot find where Firefox bookmarks are stored. Have searched through all folders and only found bookmarks.html - cannot find what it's reading to display. Have moved all bookmarks.html to new laptop to corresponding folder - no luck.

Update: As of Firefox v3.x, the bookmarks.html storage method has been replaced by a database file named places.sqlite. It is in the same directory as the bookmarks.html file, but your .html file likely stopped being updated as soon as you updated to v3.

On Windows Vista/XP/2000, the path is usually %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\
Similarly, you can just go to Organize Bookmarks in Firefox and export your bookmarks.
