Whenever I am in Outlook, I sometimes encounter a URL link (always a valid link), that when clicked on, I get the error message :
General Failure. The URL was "
http://www. ....." The system cannot find the file specified.
OK button displays.
When OK is clicked, I am then taken to the correct web page.
I'm running Vista Ultimate, Outlook 2007 and Firefox. I used to use IE, but recently switched over to Firefox and that's when the error began. I receive the error, but the URL loads properly in Firefox from within Outlook, even though the error remains on the screen until I click OK.
Can anyone shed some light on this and offer a solution?
