How to set "signed.applets.codebase_principal_support" to TRUE using javascript

I have a javascript function

I am trying to set signed.applets.codebase_principal_support to true using javascript in line 4 above but getting user_pref not defined.

How do I set using javascript?
I can set it using about:config or by manually editing prefs.js file but I want to set it using javascript.

This is a user controlled setting. You can not override/circumvent user preference.

You got the answer that this settings can only be modified during install and permitted by the user.  I think I should be awarded some points for my effort.
