1. In your IE options menu, under connection tab, make sure proxy is NOT selected.

I've actually uninstalled AVG since this problem started
2a. Check if firewall or anothe security program is blocking the websites. Temporarily disable the programs one at a time and test,
All firewall and security is disabled currently
3. You could have a MTU problem. Run this script to fix your connection. The script reinstall winsock, TCP/IP stack, MTU, and HOSTS file.

I've since tried using netsh winsock reset without success
