Not enough information. What does it do, what does it not do - what is the issue in FF? Position, error messages???

PLEASE try harder to write;  I know English is not your first language, but DIV is DIV in all languages - you mean you cannot use "div" since it breaks the line?

sorry i will tray better

i have  a span that hold a string that display a name and email off a castomer it have to be small
in IE it fine it stay in the size i wont but in fire fox itis getting the size off the string - no error it just look bad and sumtime i have more the one span(name) and then it get relly bad
if i change the width it is not afecting in ff but in IE it do

i hoop it better know

The problem is firefox behaves strangely on inline elements with overflow:hidden;
IT just doesnt really work. If you change display to block, it work but there are the line breaks :/
I cant get you a solution but only giving you the cause.
