I am using foxfire to read a pdf file in a web site.
The file is called mvrc.qzxservices.com/pdf/L
When internet explorer is used, no problem.
When firefox is used the URL is changed without my intervention to .../pdf/LO0901.pdf and that different URL file is displayed.
What should I do?

It works correctly if I put in http://www. but automatically changes the url to LO0901.pdf if the www is not used. Microsoft internet explorer works correctly with and without the www.

When I use
http://www.mvrc.qzxservice
I get the file I expected.
When I put
http://mvrc.qzxservices.co
in the address bar and push return the LO0910.pdf
automatically turns into LO0901.pdf and that file is returned.
"I get the oscilator pdf with both URLs and there is no http redirect involved."
Note: you get a oscillator pdf with both URLs, one is January (01) and the other is October (10)
There are no add-ons or redirect involves (at least deliberately)
The files are correctly linked as all works as expected with microsoft explorer.
I just checked again. The problem still exists.
In foxfire only
http://www.mvrc.qzxservice
gives me the file LO0910.pdf
-
http://mvrc.qzxservices.co
in the address bar changes automatically to
http://mvrc.qzxservices.co
and I get the file LO0901.pdf
The link in the calling file contains the www
There are many other links in the calling file all with the www and all working correctly with or with out the www in the URL.
Sorry, for me I get the same document in Firefox unless I manually change [LO0910.pdf] to [LO0901.pdf]. No redirection. If I change the URL to point to either document, that's the document that I get. The address bar doesn't change.
If you clear history/cache...? I wouldn't expect that to make a difference, but sometimes a cached page might reference javascript or some other oddity.

Using FireFox 3.5 I get the PDF (Local Oscillator) using the url: mvrc.qzxservices.com/pdf/L
I suggest the following:
1. Upgrade browser
