IE can't open OWA but Firefox can

We have a remote user that is at home and trying to open OWA but cannot with Internet Explorer but can with Firefox.  I reset IE to use original settings but it still won't work.  Any ideas?

When we connect to http://server.com/exchange - we get the "must use SSL page" but when we try https://server.com/exchange we get the server cannot be located page.
