I have installed google Chrome on various computers running Windows XP (one Home another Pro). However, the browser cannot be launched by any user (even other administrator users) other than the one that installed the Chrome Application. On all users Chrome is set as default browser, so the link appears on the Start menu. However, when clicking the icon I get an hour glass for less than a second and then nothing. I tried installing Chrome on another computer, one running XP Pro, but no luck.
I know that Chrome installs under the Local Settings of the User that installed the program. But if I'm logged in as a different user from "InstallUser", even if I go to that directory from the second user and try to open Chrome directly, I still get the same response.
Any ideas?

As i just tried to run google chrome on two different user
1.Administartor (In this user i install google chrome)
2)Administrator2(In this account google chrome will not work)
U need to install google chrome in every user account individually

your first suggestion worked well for me. I just had to install with the pack since it installs chrome at C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome (and links the start menu shortcut to this directory) instead of at C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome. The latter directory is still created but it simply works to isolate "User Data" between users. So each user has unique history, bookmarks, etc.
Thanks for your help. Now, don't go nuts spending all those points...
