Internet Explorer Home page problem

I m running windows XP with SP2. My problem  is related to internet explorer. I have set Homepage is "about blank" but every time when i open internet explorer its open "google.com". then i have reset it to blank page and also delte history,cookies from Internet options. But it is effectable for first time, but after later the same problem starts again. i have reset many times it to "blank page". its open "google.com" instead of blank page in internet explorer.

Greetings narku_narku !

Check if a a program is locking an old homepage.  Windows Defender will restore to an old page.  Some antivirus and antispyware programs will lock your homepage.

I m using Windows XP there is no windows Defender, as already i have checked firewall and antivirus it cannot block my homepage as u say. By the way, i want homepage as "about:blanK", so i hope no antivirus or program will block the intenet exploer page as blank.

If you have Google.com as a previous homepage, the security programs could have locked you to that page, even when you change it now.

Do you have Google applications like Google Toolbar, Google Chat?  Check if these programs are causing IE to change to Google homepage.  Spysweeper and other antispyware programs will lock your homepage.

Open the registry editor and remove these entries:-

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\microsoft\Inter explore\main
 in this remove the home page or set as about:blank
or whtever u want to do.
