I have just installed a cable modem for connection to the internet. I also have a satellite modem connection using Hughes network. I can access the internet with the hughes connection but get "unable to connect message" when I use the cable modem. The modem is working fine because my laptop works fine with the cable. When attached to the cable modem my internet conncetion says I am connected at 100Mbps. Using the cable modem I can ping google and yahoo without problems. I cannot view any web pages. There appears to be some issue with the cable modem and Internet explorer.
