IE 6 Close "memory could not be read" error

I have a client that is getting an error messasge each time they close IE 6: The instruction at xxxx referenced memory at xxx. the memory could not be "read", etc.

I have seen this before, but never really could get it fixed. I think it probably has something to do with a browser add on, but which one? Would appreciate any suggestions on this.
