I have IE7 installed on Terminal Server 2003.
Some problems I am having:
1) Despite removing the Enchanced Security for Users, there are still Enhanced Security error messages appearing
2) I had this error on several pcs:
An HTTP error occurred while getting:
http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx Details: "connect timed out".
So I changed the policy as follows:
Turn off Managing Phishing filter Enabled
Prevent performance of First Run Customize settings Enabled
However, IE now gives me a different problem. On most of the logins, it won't display the home page the first time. But it does if Refresh is clicked.
On the PCs it does work on, it seems the Security is set to Medium. As far as I can tell, this level is not set in any of our policies. Where does this setting come from?
This is on a brand new terminal server, all the users added within minutes of each other, all in the game OU. All I can think of is that it comes from the local pc somehow?
Anyway, any advice on these issues appreciated.
