How can I simulate an F5 refresh in an internet browser?

Hi experts,

I would like to simulate an F5 refresh of my internet browser so that the information viewed in the browser is current.  I would like the browser to automatically refresh the web page say every 15 minutes.

Is this possible and if so, please could you help me with the coding and where such coding should be placed?
