My boss' desktop IE has stopped opening websites that contain interactive pages. We sites such as
mapquest or maps.google.com open but do not display any "window in window" that can be manipulated.
There are a couple of academic papers sites that will open the initial window but will not allow the
complete text to be opened in the subsidiary window.
I have reinstalled java update 5, I have ensured that the proper settings are clicked in internet options,
I have reinstalled IE7 itself. With no improvement. I've looked on line for possible options but every
thing I see there I've already tried. Firefox works just fine. Please do not tell me to migrate my boss,
because she is not migrating anywhere.
It's running on XP2
Things I don't know and can't try right now. I don't know if I can cut and paste page source and have
it open in IE locally.
What else can I tell you? i've worked on this all day unfortunately.
