Environment:
Server - Nagios v3.0 on Linux (build included libpng, libgd2 and zlib)
Clients - Working: Firefox v2.x on Linux, Firefox v1.5.x and v2.0 on Winblows, IE v6.0 on Linux under WINE
Clients - NOT WORKING: IE v6.0 on XP/SP2
We're using Nagios to monitor approximately 250 Linux, UNIX and VMWare ESX hosts; about 50 routers and firewalls, and a few Winblows boxes. Works great, price is right, reasonably easy to manage.
The problem we're having is that the "Balanced Tree" and "Collapsed Tree" Statusmaps do not render correctly on Internet Exploder v6.0...at least not on XP/SP2. They *do* render correctly with the same IE version running under WINE on Linux. Predictably, Firefox on both Linux and Winblows works fine.
With IE on Winblows, those two Statusmaps show a thin vertical line. The other Statusmaps - the various Circular ones, the "Depth layers", work fine. Just the "Tree" maps have this problem.
The image that forms the "Balanced Tree" Statusmap is in PNG format, about 24K pixels by 500 pixels, about 116KB in size.
Has anyone seen this behavior or have any ideas to offer. I've been all thru the Nagios FAQs and mailing list archives, plus Google searches, without much success.
