internet explorer has blocked this site from downloading files to your computer

i have a user who is having problems with one specific site when she goes to print. it throws this error message "internet explorer has blocked this site from downloading files to your computer"  i have tried adding the site to the trusted sites but no luck. Gone to internett options under custom level i have enable automatic promting for downloads but i am still having the same problem.
i have uninstalled and reinstalledinternet explorer but no luck. initially everything worked until we upgraded her to IE7. i have tried to downgrading her but that has not helpe either. her security settings for IE are set to medium. Pop blocker is turned off.
but she still has the same problem.

Have you tried resetting IE to its default settings?

In IE go to Tools> Internet Options> Advanced Tab and at the bottom choose the "Reset Button"
Close IE and then reopen it and give it another try

resetting usually works, but to make sure there isn't any other underlying issue (like plugins or AV setttings), try and use another browser such as Firefox, and see if they get the same fault.  you have done all the usual steps like adding to trusted sites.

cchibonga--What is the appearance of the error message?  Is it a normal rectangular Windows message box or rather a (usually yellow) line of text which appears between the toolbar and the content window in Internet Explorer ?  
If the latter, that yellow line is the Information Bar.  You should be able to click on the line and be offered the option to "Download File".

i fixed it by going to gpedit.msc and then adminstrative templates in there i was able to turn the automatic download prompt to enable. i rebooted the computer and that fixed it.
