3. All these computers dont have "Microsoft Terminal Services Client ActiveX Control" in IE 8 Add-ons. I have tried to run regsvr32 mstscax.dll which is successful loaded. The screenshot can be found the same link mentioned above.

I had this problem too. The solution that worked for me was to add the server address to the trusted sites in IE.
Control Panel -> Internet Properties -> Security -> Trusted sites -> Sites.
So far only one of the computers out of 5, had this problem with IE8. What was weird for us was that the computer had worked just fine, then it stopped. I think the last Microsoft Update Tuesday might have changed a setting.

thank you for the tip. Forgot to mention that we had added it to the Trust site. I think I may find the problem. The client told me she is running RDP v6 because she installed P SP3. However, when I check the RDC version, it is v5. When I tried to download th v6.1, the message says the latest service pack has been installed and I can't install RDP v6.1. I search both mstsc.exe and mstscax.dll. Under system32, they are v5 and under system32\en-us, mstsc.exe.mui and mstscax.dll.mui are v6. How can I install RDP v6.1 on a XP sp3?
