internet Explorer problem

hi,,, i have problem with opening internet explorer, when i open the browser, it gets shut down after few secounds. but fourtunately my FireFox is working fine... when it shut down i get this mussege
" Internet Explore Has Stopped Working,  a problem caused the programme stope working correcly. window will close the programme and notify you a solution is available."

ps/ i have check i have no problem with internet connction

please if anyone know what this cause might be please find me a solution. thank you

Its very probably that you have a virus, try removing spywares / virus with spybot, combofix, and any other anti trojan remover. What version of internet explorer do you have?

Hello ferman-k,

You've got a lot of work cut out for you......Your first step should be to rule out Malware:


go to this website and download these programs:

MalwareBytes Anti Malware.... http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php  
and/or SuperAntiSpyware http://www.superantispyware.com/  

Make sure you update to the latest versions.

Once downloaded (you may need to rename MalwareBytes, Combofix or other tools before saving their files to the desktop as Malware can recognize the name and block them unless renamed)

Go to Start-Run and type:

Msconfig

Once in the application, go to the services tab and "hide all microsoft services" select the remaining and disable". Then go to the Startup Tab and disable all entries.

Reboot.

After the system boots it will give you a warning regarding the changes made by msconfig. Select do not warn me again.
Now you can run the anti Malware applications recommended above.
 
If the problem persists...go to http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix  and follow the instructions.

Your second step if the above does not resolve the issue completely or leaves IE with "lingering Problems" should be to remove IE8, SP3 and IE7. In order to do this right you need to follow the Windows SP and Updates - Clean Install Method:


First......You can download the IT version of SP3 from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloadS/details.aspx?familyid=5B33B5A8-5E76-401F-BE08-1E1555D4F3D4&displaylang=en

This is what Microsoft describes as a "Clean Install" process to avoid problems:
1. Go to Start-Run
2. Type msconfig.
3. Go to the "Services" tab and click on "Hide All Microsoft Services"
4. Unselect all the remaining services.
5. Go to the "Startup" and disable all the startup items.
6. Reboot.
7. Ignore the Warning Screen telling you about msconfig....Click on "Don't show this again".
8. Install the previously downloaded SP3 from the above link. (it will ask to reboot)
9. After the reboot, Open Internet Explorer-Tools-Windows Updates
10. Select the Express Updates.
11. All of the updates should install cleanly.
12. Reboot.
13. Re-Enable all the Services and the Startup items you want disabled before.

Now just in case it is not clear....to avoid any confusion....remove IE7 after removing service pack3. Reinstall SP3 using the method above and then reinstall IE8.......

Just make sure you follow the order suggested above...first remove malware...then reinstall in order..

click Start and then right click the Internet Explorer Icon, click Properties
goto Advanced tab, and then untick Enable Third Party Browser Extensions
Apply and now try to open IE, does it work?
