Certificate Error with Active Sync & Windows Mobile 6

Asked by admintj06 in Secure Socket Layer (SSL) & HTTPS, Cellular Phones & Carriers, Moble / Handheld

HI Experts,
I'm trying to get a Samsung Blackjack II (AT&T) to work.  I'm running Exchange 2003 SP2.  When using active sync, I get the following error:

The security certificate on the server is not valid.
Support Code: 80072f0d

I've been reading articles about installing our ssl certificate to the device.  I've exported the .cer file and copied it to the phone (our self signed cert).  When I browse to find the cert, it isn't shown.  Doing a search finds it, but you cannot select it.

Where am I going wrong? In the long run, would I be better off just to buy a cert through Thawte or similar sources?
