How do I get Opera Mini to work on Nokia N97

I can get Opera Mini to connect to the web on my Nokia N97 on a wifi connection, but I cannot get it to do so with a network internet connection. However my Twitter client and the N97 browser can connect without any difficulty. Any ideas?

opera hasn't got yet a version of their software available for the Nokia N97, so maybe that's the reason it doesn't work properly. If you would like to use another browser then the one that's allready on your phone you can look up more information about Firefox Mobile (https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/UI/Designs/TouchScreen) or Skyfire (http://get.skyfire.com/)
My advice would be to wait a little longer for the N97 compatible Opera Mini (http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=280287)  OR to use the Nokia webbrowser. In my opinion is the Nokia browser quite good.

Thank you very much for that. I'll try the alternatives. (I have to say I don't share your tolerance for the native browser. It's much slower than Opera, I've found, and some pages have to reload to render properly. Also,  I find trying to toggle from full screen a real lottery.)

It's not a solution to get Opera working, but if you're using the Nokia browser it's possible that the update from Nokia (version 12.0.024 firmware) is available. Probably it speeds the Nokia browser a bit up. But there is a con: if you install Every photo sms and settings will be lost, so I'd like to recommand a back-up.

Thanks  - I did a v 12 firmware update in the weekend and it did indeed improve the browser somewhat. However your suggestion of other browsers led me to the Digia browser, and I have that working very well, both on wifi and network. Very fast, very good UI.
