applet error on microsoft VM for Java, 5.0 Release 5.0.0.3805

Got a exception when running a applet program with combination of the following:

IE: 6.0.2600.0000
microsoft VM for Java, 5.0 Release 5.0.0.3805;

Exception on Java console:

You might want to update java as well.

Also

Control Panel > Internet Options
Click on the Advanced tab
Scroll down to the Microsoft VM section
Make sure the JIT compiler has a check mark by it

The JIT was enabled; I will try the IE SP1 to see whether it fix or not.
