P.S. here is additional info:
I am using winxp sp1, ie6.0 sp1, and this is a new pc which I have just recently began using from a clean install.
P.P.S. Can someone please give me the direct question number for a PAQ on this site, or the link to view a previous ee solution. Do a search inside this site on "macromedia flash player", and there is a question on 4.21.2004 which sounds identical to my question. If I have a question number I can go read the history to see if anything there applies to me. The title is something like "how to get rid of this flash player popup"
