  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Access to net besides internet browser Please HELP!

Hi! all!
my problem is this:
I'm on a lan connection.I can connect to internet throw the internet browser by inserting an id name and password. But i'm trying to connect msn messenger and i can't. I have inserted my ip in the connection options and also the server proxy, and nothing!? On the firefox browser it has the socks 5 on. well in IE the is connected by htttp proxy server, and probably the firefox should be too! Cause i have passed the ie options to the firefox.
What should i do to fix the problem i would like to connect in msn messenger and i can't, only can connect in internet browser with the proper name and password!? PLEASE HELP!

Is it a proxy port problem?
