The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

When clicking SEND in OWA, messages go to the DRAFT folder and do not get sent out.

Asked by InfoSysNetworks in Web Browsers, Exchange Email Server, Email Software

Tags: owa, draft, exchange, sent, folder

When users access OWA, the can create a message with no problem. When they send the message, the window closes and you think the message went out. A careful look and you notice that the message actually went to the DRAFT folder and did not go out. If you look at the message in the draft folder, the To: field shows the correct person the message was intended for, but all text that the user had typed is gone. If the message was a reply, the original email info is there but no comments that the user entered.

When I connect to the user's mailbox using my PC (IE7 & Firefox), I have no problem [Connecting remotely through the firewall as my users would]. Not all users are having the problem, and it seems like it's from their home PCs. For the users that are having the problem, the problem is NOT intermittent. All messages are not being sent but rather saved in the draft folder.

I am running Exchange 2003 w/ SP2, running on Windows 2003 SP1.
Clients reporting the problem are on Win2k and XP. Can't determine SP levels or IE level at this time.
