what is file's exact size which need to be attached?
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsHi,
One of my users is facing an issue. He is unable to attach files greater than 50K on any online email account that he has - hotmail, yahoo, gmail etc. When he tries attaching files, he gets a "Page not displayed" error in IE6. He's using Windows XP Pro.
Initially, i thought this was an issue with our firewall, so i contacted our WAN manager, but he confirmed that settings were fine. Then i had another user attach emails from his online email accounts, and for him it was OK.
This means that it's probably a local internet options setting somewhere that's causing this.
Any ideas as to why this might be happening?
Best Regards,

Hello connelvalentine,
Try using another browser, like Firefox
http://www.getfirefox.com
Check if you can send files greater than 50K from webmail. This will tell where the problem lies, in Intenet Explorer or in the system.
Hope this helps!

If you get this error, first try closing the attachment window and try again. In most cases this will resolve the problem.
If the error page persists, try closing the attachment window, clearing the browser's "temporary files" and try again.
If that fails, logout of webmail and restart your browser. You should also ensure that you are running the latest patches for both Windows and IE.
