Browse All TopicsGetting Error Message Access Denied (Policy_Denied) Your system policy has denied access to the requested url. I am going to google.com which is my home page. Everything was working fine using satellite internet and then while I was travelling at a hotel I started getting this message. Now that I am a different office that uses cable internet I am still getting the problem. I can connect to a vpn and I am getting email. I just can't get to the internet. Any ideas how to fix this?

Are you using Windows XP or Vista?
Try opening the websites in Firefox
http://www.getfirefox.com
Check your proxy setting in IE. Uncheck automatically detect settings.
