Hello jaisonshereen,
If you are using Mozilla Firefox browser, you can get two Gmail accounts running in same browser. You can use IE Tabs extension
https://addons.mozilla.org
Then it is like running an account in Firefox and one in IE, but in one window.
You can use Gmail Manager extension

hielo, what you said is true for Internet Explorer, but with Firefox you can add an extension to have two cache trays for the two instances of Gmail.

You will not be able to do this because Gmail (like many others) relies on cookies to keep track of your active session. So the instance you launch another instance of the browser (or open another tab or window from the active window) and then go to gmail the browser sends the cookies for that domain to the site and the site "sees" the active session and if you are logged in you do not require to login again. You need to use a different browser to have a separate account opened. This behaviour exists on other browsers as well.
