I was wodnering if some could help. I am currrently developing a site customiser where users can create their own site from a template. This system allows the suer to chnage the colours of certian divs etc in relatime, using javascript to chnage the colours.
Another feature I would like to have is for the user to be able to replace images form within this area as semalessy as possible. So they can literally click a button, a div appears with dimension information etc and a field to select a file. They click go and the file uploads.
My question really is if it is possbile for javascript to initiate a file upload and most importanly IF once the file is uploaded, the div can be rewritten without having to relaod the entire page.
The reaosn i want to do it this wway is becasue it feels more seamless. And also because if a user has changed the colours of their site I would have to send all this info as well if the pages refreshes.
