Firefox freezes when I try to view any video on the BBC website

Other Facts

OS - Win XP
Firefox 3.0
Flash player - 9,0,124,0 installed
Videos work perfectly on Youtube and adobe site
Videos also dont work in other browsers (IE, Safari, Opera etc..)
Solutions tried without success

- Cleared firefox cache, history, cookies etc..
- Reinstalled adobe flash player
- Enabled portforwarding for port 53 and 1925 on router
- Disabled windows firewall
I am trying to get this working since 2 weeks now.. and have given up !
Can some fellow expert help me out here ?
