Browse All TopicsHow do i insert a {TAB} in a textarea? I am trying to edit a text file using a web based editor and need to type a tab. Obviously, just pressing tab advances to the next input element and shift tab goes the other direction. other key combos are also used.
I have lowered myself to cut and paste as a means to put in tabs, but there has to be another, or better way.
My my specs are: browser firefox, OS Vista 64
