Many thanks for link...I'll get the client to try it.

Browse All TopicsI'm not sure if it is at my clients end on their PC settings but the website we are creating is having trouble being viewed on windows vista in IE8 at the moment. It works fine on XP and all other browsers. Safari, firefox, ie6. ie7.
A few of problems that seem to relate to images downloading:
1. It's having trouble loading a background image
2. There's some issues with the top navigation at the moment with the image hover and it not loading correctly.
3. Sometimes the site loads okay then when you go to reload the same page it doesn't load all the image again.
I've had some friends preview it on vista IE8 and it loads fine so i'm not sure what the issue might be.
At present, we are really not sure what the problem could be, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards

Just to keep people posted we applied a IE7 browser refer, which sorted out the navigation

The problem we encountered was sometimes it would load a page and then it would'nt load. Click on it once it wouldn't load a central image. Click on it again and it would. Strange!
It seemed that large loading image (50kb) sometimes loaded and then did'nt. So we changed the pathway from the CSS to a direct ink. It seemed to have work but we'll wait and see.
We also changed it by a pixel to bring it in quicker
Just still testing now.
