browser errors

Unable to locate the LMS’s API implementation. LMS Get Value was not successful.
Unable to find an API adapter

i get these errors when trying to view my study courses via Iexplorer or firefox.
what causes this and how do one resolve it.
PC - windows xp x86 (32-bit)

this issue seems to relate to some scorm app that needs to be installed...
we have   java: version 6 update
                Firefox: 9
                Explorer: 8
                Windows:  XP sp 3
                Flash player: 10 plugin

i there possible way you guys can see if someone have hacked our account.
