OWA not reachable using ip address

Hi,
I 'm having a problem getting to OWA with my iphone. if I use https:\\public ip\exchange I get Safari can't open the page because it can't find the server. I have another phone that uses windows mobile 6 and I can access OWA using the ip address. Not sure why I can't with the iphone. Any help would be appreciated. ThanksStart Free Trial
