How to implement JMS pooling without Application server
I'm developing a messaging system using the IBM websphere message queue without using the application server. The java web service will receive the message from the client and the web service is deployed in the tomcat web server. In view of the tomcat does not support JMS pooling like WAS and the http request is high, we need to have something like the db pooling stuff to help up the performance. So, would like to know is there any open source JMS pooling available

I would suggest two approaches:
1) Using Spring JMS with WebSphere MQ http://www.ibm.com/develop
or
2) Using Spring JMS with ActiveMQ http://activemq.apache.org
