Mail forwards to Blackberry email address stacking up in the queue

Have a small network with 12 workstations.  The server is running exchange 2003. A handful of users receive their blackberry email via a simple mail forward from their mail account which delivers message both to their outlook and a forward to their blackberry email addresses.
All email is working fine but for some reason all the blackberry forwards are stacking up in the exchange queue.  Email forwards go both to ATT and Verizon and neither are working.   Emails sent from a remote location directly to the blackberry email accounts work fine, but are not going out through exchange and the smtp virtual server.  How can I determine what is causing the problem?Start Free Trial
