The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Exchange not routing email.

Hi all,

I have an SBS 2003 server that is not routing any emails. I believe the below error is the cause of the issue however after searching the net for the last several hours I have found nothing that has been able to fix it. I have tried every fix that mentions the below error details however I only find a few that even mention the error code 0x8007007e.

The server allows users to connect and is showing as fully online however it refuses to route any email internally or externally. If I drag the raw emails in to the queue  E:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\Mailroot\vsi 1\Queue they do get processed but are never delivered to a mailbox. All external emails are also never delivered and after several hours no delay message is received. When I click on the queues folder in ESM I also recieve the error "MMC Cannot initialize the snap-in" (running MMC v3). Also the server's raid failed however what I find strange is a DR image I have dating back over a month when restored has the same issues.
