The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Looking for Chat application

I work in a 'dealing floor' environment and we are looking for an application which can host a chat room for us. This would be used by traders to discuss ideas and news throughout the working day. It does NOT have to have additional functionality such as white boarding or application sharing.

I have looked at some (Chat Blazer and various IM products) and they don't appear to meet our requirements.  What I am looking for is:

Ability for multiple users to access, from multiple locations
Ability to join a chat, not be invited
If you join the chat late or part through the day, be able to view previous messages (NOT the messages since you connected)
Potentially an ASP solution, rather than a locally managed app.
If connectivity is lost, the contents of the chat are not lost and you can reconnect.
